Unable to receive faxes from someone who has sent faxes to me before.

I have been unable to receive faxes (web, android app or desktop program) since Wednesday 1/14/2015.
The person that's attempting to send the fax has already sent many faxes to me since I started service quite a few months ago. Nothing has changed on his end. He's using the same fax machine & phone provider. He has called AT&T about the issue and they could not find anything wrong with the fax line he uses (no changes or visits from AT&T to add filters or splitters on his line)

I have work to do and a deadline to meet, so I'm very concerned. This is the first time I have issues, other than partially received faxes. But not receiving them at all is worse. He tells me that first he kept getting an error stating "Unable to send fax" and lastly he told me he sent a fax successfully a couple of hours ago, however, I don't see any new faxes since the above mentioned date.

Please, help! I've tried calling the support line, but nothing else than being on hold for over 30 minutes. If I enter my fax number when prompted I'm told that my service now has Online ONLY support... yet another heartbreaking disappointment.

Anyone having this issue? How can I fix it?

UPDATE: The service that the sender of the faxes is using is Comcast, which is VOIP (Voice Over IP) and not at&t as I previously thought.
Also, I was able to get through to support after I posted my question. They sent faxes through web service and a hard line fax machine (to the best of my understanding) successfully.
I'm completely lost. My support ticket/case number is 03280510

I have been unable to send a fax for the last 3 days. It keeps giving me this error: "The information could not be saved. Please try again later." I have been with RingCentral for 5 years. I have never had issues sending or receiving faxes. I have to get this information to the IRS, and this is time sensitive. Please help!

UPDATE: I was successful using my iphone app to send the fax. Thankfully, I was able to access/attach the files I needed to send via the mobile app and phone.
