I can't seem to set up my account with my gallaxy tab4.

I can't seem to set up my account with my gallaxy tab4. I keep getting an error saying to check my Internet connection when I try to log in, but my connection is fine. Is anyone else having this issue? My ring central app works fine with my account on my galaxy 4 active phone,

Hi Kevin,   I see no other members have replied to this yet.  I have not heard of any problems specific to the Galaxy Tab 4. I would first try to uninstall, and re-install the mobile app, then test it again. Also, if it really is a network problem, try to take the tablet to a location where you can connect and test it on a different network.

Mike it does not disable the need to press a 1 to accept a call via your mobile - as shown in the article, it still requires it for all Non-Ring Central  phones, which presently really are the majority.

If you set it to "never" it should not prompt on any phones.

I am having the same issue on my new galaxy 5. when I try to log in it tells me I have no internet connection. I have tried re-installing it, starting it when connected to wifi and starting it while it is connected to my pc and it gives me the same error every time.

Kevin & Jim,  If either of you are still having a problem, can you try to turn off the wifi and connect through the data connection instead and see if that works. Or try a different wifi connection.  Let us know if there's still an issue.

I have tried everything. With WiFi and without even tried plugging it into my pic just to see if that would work. I have tried it using my office WiFi and my home WiFi

I'll have to dig into this to see if there's some sort of permission settings on that device that I'm not aware of. Does it work if you use the Data connection instead of wifi?

Yes. My tab4 gallaxy won't work with the ring central app. My gallaxy4 active phone works fine with it.

It might be looking for a 3g or 4g connection when it doesn't have the ability. Try going to the Settings screen and make sure you have
VoIP Calls turned on, and Over Wi-Fi selected instead of Over 3G/4G or Wi-Fi

Let me know if this does not work. Thanks!

I was told previously this was a feature they were working on and that we would be updated. I obviously have not heard anything back.

The f5 vs f6 feature explained above is not what this is all about, and its not a new feature, its a feature that used to work and now it does not. when dialing out via ringcentral desktop dialer, the windows default dialer comes up rather that ringcentral's dialer, in other words, you cannot dial out using third party applications ANYMORE.

Jim and Kevin, are both of you referring to Tablets? Not the S4 or S5 phones?
