Call Logs: What is 'Find Me'?

It can either say Phone Call, Outgoing Fax, VOIP call, Find Me, Ringout Web and I'm not sure what the 'Find Me' means here.

Diana - "FindMe" is only for inbound calls...can you send a screenshot to community.support@ringcentral.com and reference this topic and I can take a look at it for you.

Hi Jaclyn,

The "Find Me' in your call log is an attempt/action made by our system to forward an inbound call that was placed to your RingCentral number to a number you have listed in your forward to section in your account. Here's a link that lists what other info you will see under the detailed call log section of your account.

Hope this helps!

Regards,

Thats good to know, but why does it take a few minutes to clear out and show the actual callers name and number on the Q? Calls come in for orders to be sent out ASAP. Now we have to wait for these Find Me calls to verify name of facility, the number they are calling from that we need to copy and paste to Our order entry to send out to Our Nurses. Never had this issue before till this week

Well I'm confused about that because all of my calls are routed the same way and usually my missed calls are denoted as "missed" not "FindMe (No Answer)." What is the difference?

Hello Elizabeth,

When you looks at your call log in the "Simple" view you will see that all your calls you did not answer show as "Missed." If you look at the call log in the "Detailed" view you will see a more detailed break down of the call.

In "Detailed" view, every missed call to your line will will actually appear as 2 individual lines. One will show the over all outcome of the call, missed, accepted, or voicemail. The second line will show the leg of the call where we reached out to your cell phone with the call. That line will show what happened with the leg of the call to your cell phone. In the event of a missed call you will always see the next line show the "FindMe (No Answer)."

This means that someone called, we sent the call to your cell phone through the "FindMe" forwarding option, and there was "No Answer" on the cell phone. RingCentral then sent the call to voicemail, but the caller hung up before leaving a message. You will see the same thing on a voicemail entry. The first line of the call will show Voicemail, the over all outcome of the call, the line under it will show the "FindMe (No Answer)" to your cell phone.

Hope this helps.
