I have both Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro (default program for pdf file types) and Adobe Reader installed on all my computers and no not wish to change this. When I try to attach a file using Ring Central Softphone, it does not accept the file without a work around. I can go to Control Panel, Default Programs, make Adobe Reader the default for pdf files, attach the file and after it is attached, switch back to Adobe Acrobat as the default program for pdf files. I do not think it should take this much work to send the file and I detest work arounds. Is there a way to avoid this?
Since some users have both Acrobat and Reader, I believe that both (new and older versions) should be accommodated.
