Caller ID in Salesforce does not work for call groups

There is currently no way to sync RingCentral contacts with Salesforce contacts.
I understand if you call each line directly and the Salesforce app will ring. But if you call the line as part of a call group then Salesforce does not get notified and the contact does not show up.

This literally makes RC useless to us.

WE NEED CALLER ID WHEN SOMEONE CALLS US!! WHY HASN'T RC BUILT THIS??!

No one calls each user's phone directly -- that's pointless.

Hello Kyle,   If I understand you correctly, the problem has to do with the way you are routing your calls.

Take a look at this video, and set up a Group(Department) and then I think this will solve your problem.
