Skype Click to call interfering with RingCentral integration in ZOHO CRM.

Skype click to call interfering with RingCentral integration in ZOHO CRM
  1. We do n not have Skype installed anywhere
  2. All traces of the application have been removed (We did have it before we installed Ring Central)
  3. SKYPE seems to be hard coded into ZOHO CRM
  4. The little Skype Phone icon is now a dead link in ZOHO CRM

It sounds like there's probably a Skype "click to call" extension still installed on the web browser.  Check your browser extensions and you'll most likely find it in the list. You'll want to disable or remove it.

I'm in the same boat  Removed Skype completely, checked plugins and extensions and its still there.  Any advice on how to fix this?

If you are still seeing in in the plugins and extensions area, then it is not uninstalled. You'll have to uninstall it from the web browser. If you have problems, let us know which browser you are using. There should be an option within the browser to remove it.

Its not showing as installed in the browser at all, never was to my knowledge.  I'm using Version 41.0.2272.74 beta (64-bit) on a Mac. Appreciate anything you can do!

Same here. Unable to get rid of "Dial using Skype." Apparently there should be a green "Call" button next to the number as shown on the following page, but I'm not able to make that appear. https://www.zoho.com/crm/help/zoho-phonebridge/ringcentral.html

When we enable the RC integration, the page will be refreshed automatically, have to wait till that page refresh. If we done anything before that page refresh then will have this problem.

Now please go to homepage and reload the home page so that will get click2call button in Contact detailview page. If you still face this problem then please go to PhoneBridge setup and disable the integration, then enable it and wait for auto page refresh. Now it should work.

I'm seeing Ring Central integration working with Leads, Accounts and Contacts, but not Potentials or Vendors. Any I've followed the advice above. Any suggestions?

Regarding Issues with the ZoHo Integration:  I spoke to one of the developers.  He suggests that you reach out to Zoho Support, since this integration was built by Zoho. Zoho does have a nice page laying out solutions to some common issues here.  Then support@zohocrm.com or their support portal. If that still doesn't work, let me know.

Hi Damian,  I'm not sure but you should be able to email support at zohocrm dot com and they will likely be able to assist you.

Easy fix...Un authenticate ring central from Zoho. Log off from zoho. Log into zoho reauthorize ring central. ..done

That fix didn't work for me. I've been in touch with Zoho tech support, they verified the issue and have submitted a bug report or whatever they do to escalate the issue internally. We'll see what comes of it.

did you get that fixed, i'm having the same problem and have tried logging out of all programs.
