RingCentral Google - Error Message

I am getting this error message on Mac Chrome - the solution may be obvious, but eludes me.

"Please check if your device is available to receive a call and Call Screening is disabled"

I did not find this in the user guide

Hi Bob,  What task are you performing when you get that error? What exactly triggers the error?

I have not yet been able to complete a call with this widget.

There is a hyperlink with a RingCentral icon, this is pressed, wakes up the side bar, then one attempts the call. Upon attempting to complete the call this error message is revealed.

Can you check and see if you have 32 bit or 64 bit Chrome?  If it's 64 bit that might be the cause and there is work in progress to fix it.

This is 64 bit chrome.  Version 41.0.2272.89 (64-bit).

As always, why don't the RC engineers realize if you make a Google App, that it should work in Google Chrome.  Ugh!

This was the very first release of the Chrome app, so we realize it's not the perfect/complete app at this time.  There are some known issues for those using the 64bit version, that our engineers are working on. The app is designed for Chrome only. You can't install it in other browsers. I'll updated this thread as soon as I hear more from our engineers.
