Printed Faxes Ignore Driver Defaults

I have a client who prints faxes using a Sharp MXM464N equipped with a right-side exit tray, but received faxes won't print to the right-side tray as if SoftPhone completely disregards the printer driver default settings. SoftPhone uses a print driver that is configured so that every print job should be delivered to the right side exit tray, and every other application works correctly including PDFs of faxes generated by SoftPhone, if the print PDF option is selected. I even changed the printer's menu settings to print only to the right-side tray and it still prints to the center tray. They tell me that everything worked properly until a couple weeks ago. Please advise.

Hi Ted,   It's really hard to say what might have changed or caused this. Do you know if the printer had a recent software or driver update?   I'm not sure there's a fix for this.  There's not actually a setting in the Softphone that can control, or change the print tray that is used on the printer. The softphone basically sends the document to the printer. The print settings, and output tray are controlled by the printers software.  So you by any chance have it set to "automatically print incoming faxes"?   I don't know if that setting would make a difference but it wouldn't hurt to turn it off and test it.
