I have Bria 4 on my computer, to use per vendor's instructions with another app. I want to use RingCentral's desktop app, but it won't install. I get an error message saying there's an open softphone. Neither Ring Central or Bria 4 appear to be open. Please advise.
The first thing to check is to open the Task Manager on your computer and look at both the tabs for Applications and Processes. It sounds like there's still a running process in the background even though the program may be closed.
