chrome extension not working

Installed Chrome Extension; Can't Login Error

Hello,  I added the Ring Central extension to Chrome. However, I cannot log into my Ring Central account. An error is present "Unable to load application due to browser cookies and site data restrictions." I checked my settings and cannot seem to find anything wrong.

Try to re-install the app and open it again. Watch closely at the top of the screen for any pop-up or warning messages. It usually gives a warning that you have to click "accept" or "allow".  Let us know if you are still having problems.

Hi Mike, 

Thanks for responding. I removed the extension and added it back again.  However, when I launch it, I still have the same error message, "Unable to load application due to browser cookies and site data restrictions."

Please advise.

Hi  J Ma,   Sorry for the delay on this thread. Are you still having problems with the Chrome extension?

Mike,

No, I am still having a problem. The extension won't work. I removed it and added it back, but nothing worked.

Try to uninstall chrome from your PC, then use this link to re-install it:  44.0.2376.0_chrome_installer.exe
This is a 32 bit version which I think will solve the problem.  If you want to return to the 64 bit version you can use the link below.

Mike, 

It was the Java version that I had installed. I needed to use the 64-bit version.  The extension is now working.
