Opening PDF Document in any browser

When I open a pdf document from a recent message, a new page opens with that document, but I can only print or save the document. Why does this document not automatically show the functions of a PDF file, like "send in email". I have to save it to my desktop first, then open that file which opens with all the functions of PDF file and then I can send in email. Why when i open these messages it opens a new internet tab, and only shows lower right hand side of page to expland, zoom, save and print for the file... I should be able to see tabs on top of page with alternates?

It sounds like you have your browser set at the default pdf viewer.  If I'm understanding your issue correctly the links on this page should help you change the default to your pdf viewer (usually adobe acrobat).   https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/display-pdf-browser-acrobat-xi.html

Mr. Koon, 

How are you opening the faxes? Via Softphone desktop app or RingCentral web interface? 
Also, how do you prefer to open your faxes? If you want them to open via PDF I recommend using the RC Softphone Desktop App.
