After a recent vendor system update, some RingCentral users may experience issues viewing inbound and outbound faxes.
What is known currently:
Some can hear the ding when a new fax arrives, however, the fax queue appears empty (No fax messages).
Other users may be prompted to download a newer version of the software, however, this newer version is also having issues
Some users will be unable to send (or see) Outbound faxes from either the Ring Central website, or from the installed program that runs on your PC
o Even though faxes appear to go through, Outbound fax history is empty and nothing is sent
Known workarounds:
Use your traditional fax machine or multifunction to send outbound faxes
View inbound faxes directly from the Ring Central vendor website
A high priority incident has been opened with the vendor, however, they tell us this is impacting many of their external customers and it may take up to 72 hours for their Development team to resolve.
