leave an intercom voicemail with SPA514G

hi
if ringing someone's extension and they don't pick up - voice mail is not picking up?
how can i directly leave a voice mail for someone withing the company?

Joe,

You cannot intercom to the user's voicemail. However, if you want to leave a voicemail for the user, please call their extension directly. Intercom will not transition to voicemail

id like to be able to chose to pick up on my phone or pick up thru desktop app

i try dialing an extension but it does not go to voice mail if not answer

also i see you merged my questions but did nto add a response to my second question

Hi Joe, the issue with regular calls not going to voicemail is likely a configuration setting in the account. We'll be happy to look at if but need to know what number the issue is with. If you don't want to post it here then use this link to Open a Case.

As far as the intercom calls go, it's not possible to ring the phone. An intercom call is different than a regular phone call in that all it does is activate the speaker.
