Voicemail audio files sent from ringcentral won't load/play from my gmail inbox in Firefox. Help?

I have to click "download" and and open these files with Windows Media Player. Any ideas? In Google Chrome browser I have no issues playing these files, but I prefer Firefox because my computer has little memory and Firefox isn't a memory hog like Chrome.

Check your Firefox browser plugins and extensions. You probably don't have a media player plugin installed and it's probably defaulting to the Windows Media Player instead.

Thank you for your reply. I'm defaulting to using a media player on my computer because the native audio player within Gmail won't load/buffer the ringcentral audio files that are attached to these emails. See the below image:

It hangs there and won't load the file. This appears to be a problem with Firefox, not ringcentral. I don't have a media player installed in Internet Explorer or Chrome, and neither have a problem playing loading these files. I just wanted to clarify. Thanks.

There a few ways you could potentially open and play the file. First, if you install a media play plugin on the Firefox browser, you can select to open the file in Firefox when you get the screen shown below.  Or, you can also use Windows Media Player or any other media player installed on the PC.  If you install a media player plugin on Firefox then you can open and play the audio files right in Firefox.  There are numerous media players you can install of you go to Mozilla's website.
