Desktop App update 7.14.13446

Where do I find out what features are in the Desktop App update 7.14.13446 that we are being prompted to install today? I've looked all over the site and can't find anything. Thanks!

I just upgraded but would advise waiting. Now - I have Windows 8.1, so this may not happen to you if you have another OS. But mine crashed several times and I had to call support. Come to find out there is a bug for my version of OS and Outlook. So we had to load older version of this APP. I should have know better, given last time I had updating...

I upgraded mine and the updates were listed in the desktop app once the upgrade was finished.

Hi Jay, The most detailed documentation we have on the release notes is on this page: http://netstorage.ringcentral.com/documents/release_notes_us_ca.pdf

We've started archiving them on this Community page also. RingCentral Release Notes Archive

Also, early next month we'll begin pushing out v 7.2. Keep in mind it takes us a few weeks to push the update out to all users, so not everyone gets it immediately. Is there any particular fix, or feature you are watching for?

Thanks Kim, I saw the key features listed on the prompt to upgrade but I was looking for more detail, specifically bug fixes. Isn't there a detailed version log somewhere on the website?

Hi Mike,

Just to play it safe, we tend to not install the updates unless there are specific features or bug fixes that are compelling. So it helps to have access to detailed release notes.

Specific issues:

Adjust volume for music on hold
Custom options for fax headers
Visibility to unanswered calls in queue
Simple company open/closed toggle

Understandable. If your existing version is working fine right now, then then upgrading at this time may not have any significant benefit for you.
