Set the number of rings before a call hits voicemail

I use a RingCentral number without a handset, all calls are directed to the Smartphone App after 0 rings. I find that I don't have time to answer calls before they go to voicemail though.

I see how to do this in Call Handling for forwarding numbers, but I'm not forwarding calls - I'm not sure how to increase the number of rings before a call hits voicemail using my set-up.

Jeff, we'll take a look at the settings in  your account.  What phone number are you having the issue with?  I changed this to a private message so you can reply and post the number here.

Next, have the user open the mobile app and make sure that wifi and/or 3g/4g are turned on, and, make sure that "incoming voip calls is turned on, on  the setting screen on the mobile app so it looks like below.

You will also want to make sure that the DND (do not disturb) feature is not turned on.

Hello Mike, those settings are already set that way. Calls do come in to the smartphone just fine, they just hit voicemail so early that they are difficult to answer them. If the phone is locked, by the time I enter my password to unlock it half the time the call has gone to voicemail.

Log into the extension through the web interface,  Under Call Handling & Forwarding click on Desktopapps&Smpartphones and then click the dropdown menu and change it from zero, to about 15 or 20, then test it again.
