Voicemail: Listen without Downloading

Is there any way to be able to listen to VM's through the web without downloading the message?  Havent tried it on the computer app or chrome extension... works amazingly well with my smartphone (no wasted memory on dowloading).  Hoping we can get this for the computer too cuz I really dislike filling up my computer with messages I am deleting anyways...

I use gmail. When I open a Voicemail message up, it displays like this: I edited the picture for privacy purposes.

In the lower left is an attachment I can just click on and hear it, without downloading.

If you listen to the voicemail in the Softphone it doesn't have to open a download.
Are you familiar with the Softphone?

Hi Jackson - I have had success of by logging into the RingCentral website, locating the message I wish to listen to, and then hoover your mouse over it and it should begin playing.  Make sure you hold your mouse there to listen the entire time, if you leave or move the mouse somewhere else the message will stop playing.

I hope this helps!

Simply hold your cursor over the play message symbol (looks like an upside down spool) and the voice mail message will begin to play.

This is what it looks like when clicked. It pops up and plays automatically. I am not sure if this is just gmail or what, but I do know that one of our customers on Outlook can view it this way too.

Hover is a terrible behavior for this.  People always click play buttons.  The Play button shouldn't be a download button.

Also, hover breaks tablets.  Bad plan.  Don't use hover.

When I hover, it doesn't work. It did on my old computer. Maybe it's my browser. But I'm having to download each and every one to hear it and this I am not liking at all!

Hi Andrew, it's most likely an issue with the browser.  Have you tried different browsers (and make sure they are up to date)?
