Sometimes you need a simple tool to video-capture your screen, could be for a software demo or just to show some issues you are having with your RingCentral system or any other application. You do not need to start a real meeting with more participants to record your own screen. (We are talking here about RingCentral Meetings for Windows or Mac, not for the mobile). 1) Start Ringentral Meetings app. If you do not have it yet, just dowload it from
https://service.ringcentral.com/tools/meetingsApp.html
2) If you want to record only what is happening in your screen, click on Start without video, but if you want to record your own video from yourself you can start "with video". This is also useful if you want to have in a corner your face as a presenter/host, to do this, just re arrange the video of yourself, change the size and move it to a corner of the screen. 3) Join by computer to use the microphone of your computer, if you do not have it, you will need to make a call to the meeting to use the desktop phone as microphone. 4) Join Audio 5) Share Screen If you have an iPad/iPhone on the same WiFi network, you can also share that screen, awesome! 6) At the top of the screen you will find a menu, there on more is the option to Record that session.
7) When you finish your demo/presentation, just stop recording (at the same menu option). 8) In Windows, the file with your video will be at your Documents Folder (if you do not change the defaults) in C:\Users\User_Name\Documents\RingCentralMeetings\date_of_the_meeting Please add your comments...
