Cisco Update ?

I just got this email and according what was posted here before about Polycoms Update, I'm worry: Dear RingCentral Customer, During the week of June 28th, between 11pm and 3am Pacific Time, RingCentral has scheduled a routine upgrade to your Cisco phones. We are implementing this upgrade to ensure your Cisco phones are up to date so they can operate at the highest level of service. You shouldn't see a change to your service, but in the unlikely event you do experience any issues, disconnect the power or ethernet cable from any affected phones and then reconnect the power. If this does not resolve your issue, please contact support. Thank You, Your RingCentral Team

It should all good.  I have about 60/40 (Cisco/Polycom) phones installed with my clients.  Just had to do a reboot on the Polycom people (last month) and it took away (15-20 minutes) for the phones to come back on line after update.  My suggestions would be to reboot before you leave the office for the day and when you come back in the next day all should be OK.  Saul Goodman.

Ha, OK, but with the last update of the Polycom some of the functionalities were lost... In the other post we are talking about Cisco v/s Polycom... (thanks), now considering your proportion 60/40 seems like you more Ciscos ?

I really have no preference.  I use one of each in my office so I can demo/test/troubleshoot them - but it's ultimately the client's choice.
