Login to mobile app

I can't seem to login on my iPhone. Maybe I am missing something. I type my phone number in (I have tried my mobile number and the number I was given via email from Ring Central and It still rejects it. I have tried adding an "0" to the start, parts of the number, all the number. I can't add any brackets or hyphens as the keypad won't let me so I guess they aren't required. I am stuck. Please help.

You talking about your mobile app for the iPhone?  Your log in would be as follows:
Phone number would be your ten-digit DID number (the one assigned to your RC ext).  Just the 10digits - no spaces or brackets and such.
no extension number - leave blank.
Then your password (alphanumeric) not your PIN.
So basically, the same log in credentials you use to sign into your on line portal.

Some also suggest the main number with your extension - but I've always used my DID.

Furthermore, if you have admin rights, you can see the entire phone system too - no matter which way you log in.

Sadly, I have tried the number you suggested with no space etc in both the EU and non-EU app and I can't login at all. Another question is which app should I be using once I can login please? The company is global. I am in the UK but the account was set up in the US. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Danno for your help. I will hopefully get a response from a UK user.

No problem.  Sounds like you've called tech support before (lol).

Idea: let the app detect the right side of the pond, based in the location services OR based in the RingCentral phone number itself ... and give this as default, but still able to be changed by the user request...

If it's a US account then make sure you are using the US app. Try to uninstall and reinstall it to be sure. As Danno mentioned above, it's usually best to log in with the DID number.  If you still have problems then please use this link to open a case so we can gather the account details and look into this for you.

I am so sorry.  I did not realize you were UK.  I'm on the other side of the pond.  Hopefully another UK user will see this or you'll need to reach out to Tech Support.  I honestly don't know if there are differences between what you have and I have - so I don't want to lead you down the wrong path.

Still no luck i'm afraid. It's a poor state of affairs when I can't log in to open a case about logging in!
