Can I add my current phone and phone number to my new extension?

We need to add two phones as extensions for our organization. We do not need to purchase a phone but simply want to add our two cell phones and their numbers and link them to the new extension. Is that possible?

Andrew,

Absolutely possible. Log into the RC Portal as an Admin and click on the Users button (on the left side). At the top of the Users page you will see a button which says "Add". Click on it and it will give you an extension setup. Simply give the extension a number and a name and an email address. The system will send an email to that user helping them to set up their extension.

Thanks for helping out Jan!

Andrew, If you still need help, there's one small step missing from above. After you click the Add Users link, then click " add users without phones".  Then just enter the number of extensions you want to add and click add users > next, and you'll get the screen to fill in the users info.

My portal used to give me that option but no longer. Running Office Enterprise but have assigned all DLs. All I see upon adding a user is what I described above. (See attachment.)

Thanks for sharing again Jan.

It might depend on the exact plan. Andrew just let us know if you are seeing something different or can't do this for some reason.
