Apple Watch connected iOS phone app does not ringing if phone is locked

My Ring Central app works perfect except when the phone is locked. Ringing does not wake the phone and does not notify me. If the phone is unlocked, it works great. Anyone have any suggestions?

So if the "watch" is notifying you of a call, the phone will not. Turn off watch notification (for Ring Central) and it is fine.

Check your notifications permissions under the iPhone settings...

Hi Claudio, yes it works just fine.  I used a RC Call-Group. rather than Eddie's suggestion.  I have 2 Cisco SPA2102's feeding the 4 inbound/outbound lines in the legacy Comdial PBX.  As far as the PBX is concerned, the 4 lines are simply POTS lines.    Some notes:

1)  This setup is not easy, and not for newbies.  RC prides itself on a "plug and play" experience.  My setup is not.
2)  I am using both ports on the SPAs.  They were manually configured.
3)  Getting DTMF to work properly was a challenge.  I.E. depending on the settings, either conference call buttons wouldn't work, or voip talk-off was bad.  (voices were converted into beeps, as if someone was mashing the keypad during the call).   This was very difficult to diagnose and still not fully fixed.
4)  Caller-ID w/ Name works just fine.  The PBX phones should the inbound callerid-name.

Hope that helps, feel free to ask questions.

Al, are you referring to the Apple Watch?  Just wondering if your 2nd post was the answer to the problem, or if you still needed help?  Apple's design is to have the notifications go to the watch, or the phone, but not both.  This is Apple's configuration.

Yes, I have found that to be true. The watch notified me of the call but did not allow me to react to it. I am all set, thank you.

I too have an apple watch and the notification is off but there are time usually first thing in the morning when I don't hear any call from my iPhone or iPad but yet I see messages being left. My volume is up etc but nothing. I have done resets and then it seems to work again. The problem is, I just don't understand why it does this. I will experiment more.

That is the same as my experience. I could not answer since the phone did not notify me. I turned the RC notification off for now.
