Add non-extension number to phone home screen?

I regularly call someone who spends most of his time in the field. He doesn't have the Ringcentral app on his phone, so I have to call his actual cell number. Is there a way to add this number as one of the six quick-dial options on the home screen of my actual phone so that I don't have to dial the number or go searching through my contacts?

I think I am doing what you are looking for.  I programmed a RC extension (w/no DID - so it's free) and made it ext 199.  I then have that extension (via Call handling) programmed to call his cell phone.  I then added that extension to my presence key and whala! Just press his button when I want to call him.  Is that what you are looking for??

This sounds like exactly what I'm trying to do, but I'm just a regular Joe in a cubicle and don't have the admin rights it looks like I need to edit that. Is there a simplified way, or should I ask the IT person to put this in for me?

My suggestion of the other option below - provided you are using RC4W.  I know some who have programmed a speed dial buttons via their phone, but I had issues (conflicts) when I did that - hence why I'm doing it the way I originally stated.  If you call this person a lot - I would reach out to the IT person :')

Another option (if you use RC4W) is to make the person a "favorite" - so all you have to do is a point-and-click from the APP.
