Fax: How many attempts will RC make if a line is busy?

RC made three attempts at four minute intervals to deliver my fax to a machine that was busy.  Should i now resend it or wait for RC to redial?  Thanks.

I understand between attempts the system will only wait a minute. This is completely inadequate for a busy line. There should be an option to space the attempts further apart.

Can't I resend a failed fax?! I used to be able to. This service has gotten really complicated.

They system will attempt to send a fax 3 times.  If it fails you will need to re-send it manually.

This reply was created from a merged topic originally titled Fax:what is the limit on how many time The system try to re-send a Partially rece.... I faced an issue with partially received Fax. The system keeps trying to re-send it to my e-mail all night without success. It keeps coming partially. There should be a limit of 10 attempts for example, in order not to Jam our e-mail with unsuccessful Partially received Faxes.
