I believe the fax needs to be sent to faxnumber@rcfax.com, not ringcentral.com.

You can be notified of the status of the fax in several different ways. First of all, set the "Messages and Notifications" for the extension sending the fax to send an email or SMS to the sender with the Fax Transmission Results.

Secondly, the sender can check under the "My Extension" on the RC Portal. Go to "Messages" and then "Sent Items". The result of the fax transmission will show their.

Finally, the fax transmission results can be viewed in the "Call Log" of either the "Admin Portal" or the "My Extension" portion of the RC Portal.

Here's a screen shot example of having an email sent to the sender with the fax transmission results. This fax was sent out via faxnumber@rcfax.com

Also, does anyone know why Fax Message Transmission fail to show the Name of the recipient? That was a useful feature that is no longer present, as shown by the above graphic.
