I am using the laptop wirelessly and the phone is connected to the laptop accessing the laptop's wireless. Sorry I don't know what the ethernet port is.

The phone is connected to the laptop using this port?

If is not, the phone is working wireless too ?

When you are logged out or not in a Skype Call, the phone works fine? Using RingCentral Wirelessly (since the laptop is conected by wifi and sharing the Internet by the Ethernet port) is not recommended, in addition, it seems like Skype is using some logic ports that are needed by the phone. I truly encourage you to have the phone using their own Ethernet cable connected directly to the router, of if this is not possible, use the Softphone on the Laptop.

You said your "phone is connected to your laptop"... are you using the laptop wirelessly and sharing internet through the Ethernet port ?
