Can calls that are forwarded be direct answer instead of having to press 1 to receive?

There are certain extensions that we would like to go directly to the phone once picked up rather than having to press 1, ie when I'm driving I'd like to just be able to answer the call and not have to fumble around looking for the phone to press 1 to receive the call. I don't see a setting to change call confirmation settings on the extension. It also doesn't matter to me if it goes to my voicemail.

Moses,

This is handled for each extension via the "Call Handling and Forwarding" menu selection followed by the "Incoming Call Information" menu selection. Set "Play announcement before connecting" to Never to disable the "Press '1' to connect to the call.

Thanks for this.

As a new user, I ran into this issue today when I received my first call via the RC app on my smart phone.

When the call came in, the message said to press 1 to accept the call. The RC Dial Pad was there, but pressing 1 on the RC Dial Pad provided no response. And simultaneously, it seemed, as I was trying to press 1, the smart phone message would come up asking me to accept or reject the call. While I was fumbling with that, the call went to voice mail, and I missed it.

I followed Jan's tip. But rather than select "Never," I instead selected "For non-RingCentral phones only." That worked for me.
