I have 3 phone numbers and my broadband internet with Charter Communications. We'll call the phone numbers A, B, and C. I would like to transfer all those numbers to RingCentral, or at least the A number. On my Charter Spectrum whatever it is this week bill, number B is listed as my number at the top of the bill.
According to the "use my existing number" button on the main page of my admin account, if my DSL/broadband is tied in with my phone number, the number cannot be transferred or I will lose my internet. That won't work, since I can't use RingCentral if I don't have internet. If I look through the help system, it mentions DSL but not Broadband. I have broadband but not DSL. Does this mean I can't transfer my numbers? Or can I transfer A but not B?
I don't know why I couldn't have my internet through Charter, and my phones through RingCentral. I had cable TV through them since the beginning of time, before there was an Internet. I could see it if I had DSL through AT&T (which is slow as pondwater).
Any ideas?
Thanks,
David
