Does the sound quality of this greeting accurately represent RingCentral's call quality?

I called the phone number listed on your contact us page: 888-528-RING (7464) I'm just wondering if the sound quality of this greeting accurately represents RingCentral's call quality.

You don't state whether you call using a "land-line" or a cell phone. A greeting is a recording and it may be different than what an actual connection would be when speaking to a person.

Having said the above, I have never had an issue with the call quality in either contacting RingCentral or with my RingCentral account. RingCentral call quality, as with any VOIP  service, can be enhanced by correctly configuring your network. Your local network, your Internet connection, and your router devices all contribute to overall call quality.

Actually my RingCentral call quality is excellent. The reason I posted this was to make a point. I've called the phone number listed on RingCentral's contact us page: 888-528-RING (7464) several times over the past year. The sound quality of this greeting is terrible! Call and listen to it yourself. If I didn't already have the service and know it's good, I would think RingCentral is low budget bad sound quality VOIP company (which is definitely not the case.) I know they spend serious money rolling out constant new improvements and upgrades and really try to promote a good image for the company. This doesn't benefit me at all, but I was thinking if I was the CEO and I heard that greeting I would be appalled to know this might be someone's first impression of the company.

I did just try it, per your suggestion, and the greeting sound quality was very good here. The only thing I noticed, and I don't know if this is what you are referring to as "The sound quality of this greeting is terrible!", is that her "S" and "Ch" sounds end with a hissing sound. That would possibly be caused by over modulation by being too close to the microphone or phone.

But as I said before, most people understand that a greeting is a recording and unless it is horrendous (i.e., sounds like it's in an tunnel or the person recording the greeting had a heavy accent which would be hardly understandable) I personally believe that it would be overlooked.

Just my opinion...your mileage may vary.
