Fax through printer/fax machine?

I want to receive and send fax through my printer, so if anyone fax me something it will come straight out from the printer, or if I want to fax someone a document, I just go to the printer and send it out.
It's much faster than for us.

Can we do that?

To answer your first question: Yes.  It is under the settings of your RC4W app.  See screen shot below.

On the second part of your question, purchase a Cisco SPA-122 Analog Adapter (ATA).

Sorry, I'm Southern!  "ATA avenue" - let's say it this way - If you decide to purchase an install the Cisco SPA-122 Analog Adapter (ATA) then my suggestion would not be viable.

So the ATA converts the VoIP digital signal to an analog signal - therefore, it would be the same as a dedicated telephone line from the telephone company.

what does ATA avenue mean?
So basically the printer can't directly receive the fax, it just print out the fax automatically once it is delivered in the in box of the RC4W app. I understand this part now, thanks again.

The second part, can you please explain a little bit more what that Cisco device does?

It sounds like, before you bought Ring Central, you had a dedicated telephone line plugging into the back of your printer, which sounds like it is one of those all-in-one machines; meaning, it can print, scan and fax.  I'm I right?

1) You can still scan the document to your PC Folder, then just fax via Softphone (RingCentral for Windows) and attach the document.

2) You can also fax via email

It's an AIO machine, I don't have any dedicated telephone connected to the printer before though. I just scan the document then fax them out on RC. But sometimes the document is 50+ pages, it just take so much time to scan, organize then fax etc... Is there any other option for fax out rather than converting using a adapter?

If you go the ATA avenue, then my answer to the first part of your question becomes moot.
