Not sure I understand what you are asking.  But, I just sent a text successfully and I received a text of a missed call - so I can say yest to that.

Camacho - the SMS needs to be enabled on the back end.  If numbers were ported in to RingCentral, SMS may take 7-14 days to be enabled.  Toll Free Numbers don't get SMS. 

If you e-mail community.support@ringcentral.com the phone number I can take a look at it. (please include the link to this forum).

^ Danno did you text from the App on your phone or your laptop?  Can only see a call or fax option.

I sent a text message from my personal smartphone to my RC number and it appeared in my RC4W APP on my PC as an SMS text.  I called my RC number and hung up and a missed call text was sent to my smartphone as a text message.

Camacho, as we discussed you cannot fwd RingCentral SMS to your cell phone.  But if you were able to download the app on your cell phone & get logged in correctly, and did not get my test SMS, then please open a web case.  

But test with your cell phone carrier first (to & from).
