HUGE PROBLEM w/new "VERSION" of ring central desktop application windows!
HUGE PROBLEM with the new "VERSION" of ring central desktop application for windows! It's horrible we miss the older version it was great, fast, efficient and very user friendly! We have been experiencing a lot of problems with the newer version. Our recipients do not rcv our faxes and if they do the background is dark and the letters are white! Causing a lot of TONER being used also, maximum 20mb ?? WHY??? Help developers/engineers!!
It sounds like the issues you have are not really related to the most recent release, but we can certainly try to troubleshoot for you. As far as faxes not being recieived, we'll need to know specific numbers, dates, times etc, It will help if you open a support case and include those details.
Thank you for your response however, I have already created a case number by phone and we uninstalled the app and reinstalled the desktop app TWICE! We have it on 1 PC and 1 user is logged in, we do not have multiple users but the rep advised me to create a complaint via web to this community page so my "VOICE" can be heard. Thanks again!
Mike is correct. There is not a issue with faxes on the newest version. How many people are logged into the softphone ext? Make sure only 1 person is logged in...the Softphone can only be registered to 1 PC. If multiple people are logged in, with will not work properly and not sycn .
