Polycom IP 601 - Help needed!

I have just signed up to Ring Central (UK) and I am trying to configure my phone. It is a Polycom SoundPoint IP601 with SIP firmware all reset to factory settings. 

I know this is a legacy phone, however on the Ring Central website it does show as a tested phone and compatible. 

However, I cannot get the thing set up! I have spoken to support multiple times and whilst they are pleasant they never really seem to know what they are doing or talking about. 

If anyone has any experience of setting up one of these phones, please help me as I am at my witts end! I have all the settings from my portal and I've tried adding them to the phone in many many different combinations to no avail. Strangely when I use a CMD to ping the server: sip.ringcentral.co.uk it doesn't seem to exist, I've used different networks and even online ping services to test this - so strange.

Do you have a case number? Please see this list here regarding that phone.
