Sales advised that we can use the connection greeting to add emergency announcements. This has been great since we can update all connection greetings with a template.
This was a pass/fail requirements since we wanted our system prepped for disaster recovery.
I am finding now that the system is in place for 6+ months that the caller does not hear the message if the phone is unplugged or lets say the internet connection is down.
Cant we have an option to play the connection greeting even if the phone is not plugged in? Making this an option would keep the operation the same for people that dont need this or want it.
