Been using virtual extensions unconditionally forwarded to the PSTN numbers.  Then all the users have to do is dial the extension number (aka SSPD number) followed by # - until RC offers this feature - if that helps.

Is there a chance, Danno, that you could put your reply in more easily understood terms?
Our company has standard plan, we have 30 users, I want to assign a speed dial to an outside PTSN phone.  Do I have to first assign an extension to that outside number?

Hi Gabrielle,   I think this is what Danno is referring to.  Take a look at the Official Response on this page:   How do I add a user extension?

You can add an extension without a direct line, at no cost,  then set up forwarding for that extension.
