Two lines on phone

Having some issues with 2nd ling not ringing on Cisco SPA504's and 525's. I need to document this, and was wondering if anyone using Ring Central might be willing to assist?

Issue is, if 2nd call comes in - instead of ringing Line 2 on the phone, it rings Line 1 again (flashing, indicating there is another call on line1, instead of rolling down to line 2).

Would someone be so kind as to test this on their SPA504 or 525s and let me know if it works properly? If so, could you tell me the hardware/firmware version of your SPA?

Hi Nick, for this issue it will be best to open a support case so we can look at specifics.   Open a Case

In your case notes be sure to include the serial numbers of the phones involved, and provide the phone numbers dialed etc. and explain the call flow. Is this a call queue etc?

Hi Mike, sorry if I wasn't clear enough - the issue is with another provider, which is why I was asking if anyone using ring central verify it's working fine on RC and the firmware/model number.

Nick- As long as the RingCentral Device is running the latest firmware, it should always have two lines...since the other lines would be presence values.

Hi Nick, I use the SPA series all the time.  Mostly the 525 but the 508 and 504 also.  The Ring Central System is working the way it has always.  If line one is busy line 2 rings on the phone.

the firmware standard on the SPA series phones is 5.7 I believe.
