Call Handling: Merged Parked Call to Conference Call

Question- How could the CFO call one person, Park them Call another person and then join them in one call? Normally a conference would be started and people would call in, but the CFO says the two parties can not call out. Any Suggestions.

Hi David,

Most Phones actually have a softkey once on a call that allows a 3-way conference. For example, on the Polycom VVX310 and 410, once the first call is connected, hit the More softkey, then Confrnce, then dial the second person. Once that call is connected, hit the confrnce key again, and the two calls will be connected, to break them apart again, simply press split.

This is also available on RingCentral for Windows, by clicking the small + sign next to the contact photo that appears above the call control buttons during a call. once clicked, it allows you to dial again, and as with the desk phone, you simply press the + button that appears at the bottom in order to connect the 2 calls together.

Hope this helps!
