How do I make a phone call through my computer without RingOut sending it to my desk phone?

Ringout suddenly is diverting my calls to my desk phone.  I don't want it to do that, how do I disable it?

There are a couple things to check here.  First go to the Setting screen and click the Calling link and make sure you have the Direct Dial button selected like shown below.  
If you don't have the Direct Dial option available, then make sure you are logged in with your own DL, and not the main company number + extension.  If you still do not have Direct Dial as an option, it's possible you will need the full DL Softphone added to your extension.  Please have your ADMIN contact the Sales Rep if they don't know how to add it.
