Turn off Voicemail for a Call Group

Why isn't there simply an on off for voicemail in call groups? Since there isn't this simple switch how can I turn off voicemail in a call group I don't want to receive voicemail's? .

you want to disable the voicemail option in a RingGroup or a Call Queue? 

RingGroup: go to the extension under Users > Messages & Notifications > Takes Messages -OFF
Call Queue: go to Groups > Select Queue ext. > Messages & Notifications > Takes Messages -OFF

There isn't an option that I can see in a Call Queue to turn off Voicemail.
