When we tested this here in the Lab, we could not duplicate the issue.  The Caller ID should take up the entire line at first.  Is your phone a RingCentral purchased phone, or 3rd party? Can you paste a screen shot here?  Also, can I get the SN so I can check the registration on the back end?

The line 1 character display has a limit and not even too long of a name has to be extended and shown into line 2. How can I expand line 1 to show more characters rather than split into 2 lines of display? The SN 0004F27AAE40 purchased from RingCentral last month. Screen shot below:

Your screen shots show it at 12 & 14 seconds, does it show the full length at the beginning? 

It should take up the entire screen at the beginning, then after a few seconds it goes to only 1 line and will scroll - up to 15 characters. 

This is working as designed. 

Actually, it does rotate.  However, my point is that as you can see the "Caller" word did not display fully in line 1, so it's pushed to line 2 which then rotate in 2 seconds.  My request is that if there's way to modify the display to show characters all the way to right (in line 1)
