We are a business with approximately 80 RingCentral phone users. When an outside call comes in, Person A answers it and blind transfers it to Person B. Currently, there is no ability for Person A to speak to Person B before pressing the Transfer button and doing a blind transfer. What I am requesting is the ability to speak before the transfer. This feature would be useful because the person transferring the call could let the other person know who is calling them. I had opened a case for this, but there was no solution. The case number is 04193729.
I checked into your case (04193729) and as Mark stated, if you want the caller ID to transfer, you must use blind transfer. If you want to speak to the user before transferring the call then you need to use Warm Transfer. There is no resolution for this, it's working as designed.
