I faxed 2 PDF files and it showed that the fax was sent but said that the files could not be rendered for errors.  My interpretation is that it could not check the files for errors.

Can you detail the steps and include screenshots?  We'll need to figure out exactly what's producing this.  How are you sending the fax; ie web portal, desktop app, mobile app, email, etc?  When and where does the error appear?

Can you provide more details please?  What is the source of the the file you are trying to open?  Is it a fax attachment?  The error is usually a problem with opening a pdf file within a web browser and can often be fixed by refreshing the browser (press F5).  Make sure you have an up to date pdf viewer installed of course.
