How do I stop receiving spam from Scott Harris and other people at Ringcentral, Inc?

Ringcentral-mail.co has become the number one most hated corporate spam machine at my office. Can you please "market" elsewhere? does Ringcentral actually believe that spamming the email accounts of employees at random businesses will create a positive result regarding business relations with those businesses?

Perhaps it is more complicated than that and there is some underlying psychology that I'm missing but if I were to looking to employ a corporation to handle an important service for my business, the last company I would want to employ for that service would be the one that's constantly spamming the inboxes of my employees.

I would rather not give out business contact information to anyone at Ringcentral... for the obvious reasons stated above.

No thank you. I have reported this issue to you; an official Rep of Ringcentral. In my opinion, that should be enough to make your company aware of the issue and to trigger an internal effort to implement a corrective action.

If you suspect fraudulent behavior then I would assume that your company must have some process in place for handling these issue with the proper escalation. Any further reports that I submit will be to the Better Business Bureau regarding the use shady, harassing marketing tactics.

Hello Kevin, We are looking into this but we need more information to proceed.  If you can either forward one of the emails to us (as an attachment) to community.support@ringcentral.com or open a web case as Kim instructed then we can confirm specifics contained within the email.

It will be best to forward the email as an attachment. This way we can open and view the header of the email which will allow us to trace the origination of the email and  verify the actual domain it's sent from and/or confirm if it is, or is not some sort of email spoofing.

Thanks!

I have forwarded a redacted version of the EML file to the address provided. I redacted my employer's name, my work email address, and corporate mail server names/ID's.

...but could you please explain to me WHY some nefarious entity would want to spoof aggressive, cold-call marketing/phishing on behalf of Ringcentral without your knowledge, permission - and therefore presumably at their own expense? That really doesn't sound like something someone would do - unless they worked for Ringcentral. What's the angle for the spoofer?

The last time I checked, random acts of free marketing via SPAM wasn't even a thing. These scumbags are typically employed to carpet-bomb corporations on behalf of their employer because, you know, capitalism and stuff.
