When I select a document from my computer file and fax it, the document is being delivered upside down. How do I correct this?

Can you tell us what the file type is?  Word, pdf, Excel, or some image format???

Does this happen on all attachments?

The file type was pdf.  On one document, the first page was oriented with the printing across the longer side of the paper (portrait orientation), and then the rest of the pages were oriented in the typical letter format.  I thought this might be the problem, but then I tried to fax another pdf document and had the same problem.  I faxed a one page pdf this morning as a test, and it came out correctly.  Any suggestions?

Take a close look at the original document.  If it's not in a standard 8.5"x11" portrait  format, it will try to orient the page for best fit. I've seen this happen a lot in other formats like xls files and things that are not a standard 8.5x11.

Thank you.  I assume that when the original document is not a standard portrait format, I would have to recopy it to fit a standard portrait format before faxing it, or just know that it may go through upside down.  Incidentally, in my last response to you, I referenced printing across the longer side of the page in "portrait" orientation; I should have said "landscape" orientation.  Any other suggestions on what to do when the original document is not in a standard portrait format?

Correct.  Otherwise it will likely rotate it to some other orientation.  If everything is in a normal 8.5x11 portrait format, and it still rotates it to some other orientation, then you'll want to open up a case and provide us the time, date, phone numbers etc. so we can investigate further.
