ringcentralforwindows-7.4.1.msi

After rolling back from Windows 10 to Windows 8.1 I can no longer update Ringcentral. When attempting to do so it asks for a file called "ringcentralforwindows-7.4.1.msi". The same is true if I attempt to uninstall Ringcentral. I can't seem to find a link to that old MSI file. Can tech support please provide a link for me to download it? I am using Ringcenttral desktop for Windows.

First, you'll wan to to completely remove all old versions, following the steps on this page:   RingCentral for Windows crash or blank screen

Next, 7.4.1 is a pretty old version so I would recommenced updating to 8.x which is our most recent supported version. 

Once you get all old versions removed, then log into your account, under the extension, and download the recommended version.

Hi Mike,
Removal appears to be one of the issues. When I try to uninstall it it is still asking for the 7.4 MSI file. SO... I can't seem to remove it or update it at this time.

Try to run this uninstaller tool, and let us know if you can then install the new version:    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/mats/program_install_and_uninstall
