This isn't entirely true. Microsoft provides the ability for a developer to upload their Android app to the Windows Dev Center so it can automatically check it and see how much of its code can be reused, and how much needs to be changed so it can work on Windows 10. They provide an API (Application Programming Interface) which assists a developer to be able to interface their application with another.

So it's not just a matter of running a program which then automatically converts any iOS or Android application to the Windows platform. Coding must still be done, then tested, etc. Then it comes down to the question as to whether there is enough of a market to still show a profit when all is said and done after all the programming, testing, etc.

I'm not a RingCentral employee but I am a developer. If it were that easy I'm certain that RingCentral and other SaaS (Software as a Service) companies would ALL have  Windows platform applications.

Yes, it isn't the same as a true converter however, most of the code written is reused, adjusted or rewritten.  Therefore, it shouldn't take much time to beta test & rewrite what's needed to make the application ready for public use!

Any company that produces software and app products should make their products available across all platforms to gain as much revenue as possible.  You say, is there enough market to show a profit?  I say, If it were available across all platforms including Windows 10 phones you'd see many folks moving over to the Windows 10 Phone platform.  Therefore, by limiting the apps to Android & iOS a company is truly taking sides against other and soon to be better OS's coming to market.
 
Ironically, RingCentral has the app for Windows 10 desktop & tablets!  Why not Windows 10 Phones?

Has anyone actually tried to convert either IOS or Android mobile apps to Windows 10 Mobile?  How about building UWP (Universal Windows Platform) app which can be used across Windows 10 devices?  I miss RingCentral on my mobile, which is currently Lumia 950-XL.  

If you visit the main RingCentral site at www.ringcentral.com, then press/click the link to view "full site", then log into your account, you'll see the three icons like below, that will provide you some basic features so that you can at least use the conference, calling, and fax features.   Keep in mind, this is not designed for mobile browsers so we can not guarantee full functionality.
