RESOLVED: 3/17/2016 -Reports of desk phones and softphones showing calling unavailable& calls dropping

We are investigating reports of desk phones and softphones showing calling unavailable and calls dropping. We will update this thread as soon as more information is available.

Today 03/17/2016 10:30 Central Time we were experiencing a shutdown on the phones but the status does not show the event, also is referencing an issue from Feb 23???

I notice the same problem almost every time.  The status page is never accurate.

RingCentral is currently experiencing issues with both desk phones and softphones showing calling unavailable, calls dropping, and service web showing service unavailable. Our engineering teams are aware and are working to restore service. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

This issue is resolved. 

If you are still experiencing phones offline after rebooting please let me know by posting here.

Got it.  Just to verify, have you rebooted your phones?

The number received from Sean is associated with Ext 148. We do not see a softphone registered to Ext 148 nor do we see a hardphone that is associated with that number.  Can you provide more details on the issue you are experiencing?  

Also, this tread may be helpful for troubleshooting desktop app issues.
