Mobile App: only vibrates once while on silent (enable buzz)

I have an iPhone 5 using the mobile app, with AT&T carrier, and no desktop type phone, just the mobile.  I usually have my iPhone on silent with the buzz on.  When a RingCentral call comes in, it just gives one little buzz and that's it.  I need it to ring/buzz like my AT&T calls  such that it rings multiple times, else I miss the call.  I've been told by support that it is behaving like any application that gives a notification.  It should behave like a phone call, which is what other providers do.  This is a bit of a showstopper for me, as it means I miss most of my calls.

Please note:  this is not a question of adding more seconds of ring time.  I have it set at 25 seconds, and if the app is open and active, it works fine.  It's when the phone is not being used (like in my pocket), and a call comes in, and it just gives one little buzz, instead of multiple.

I don't disagree this is a good feature request, but one idea in the meantime might be to set your cell phone number as  a forwarding destination after trying the mobile app.  That way you would still take calls on mobile app when you hear them (or feel them), but in case you miss it it will then start ringing/vibrating your cell as a regular call.  The person calling you shouldn't notice any difference.

My understanding is that if I do this, then RingCentral loses control of the call, and it goes to my regular voicemail instead of the RingCentral voicemail, if I don't answer.  Else, I would do that.  Let me know if this is wrong!

You should be able to control that with timing.  Make sure the total time your RC extension is set to pull back to voicemail is at least 5 seconds or so less than the length of time your cell phone would go to voicemail and you should be good.

It still may end up in your cell voicemail if your battery dies or you turn your phone off, I suppose, so consider that too.

I checked - Ringcentral is already set to forward to my cell phone.  It does go to Ringcentral voicemail.  It doesn't help the non buzzing issue at all.  Meantime, I have also confirmed that it does keep ringing if you have the ringer on, but it doesn't keep buzzing if you just have buzz on.  I would like it to buzz the way it rings.
