missed call messages showing numbers not name

We have a Cisco SPA525G phone connected with RingCentral. Contacts have been added to both ringCentral and the Cisco address book. If we receive a missed call, we receive a email informing us on who called. This only shows the number of the person and not the name. Is it possible for us to have it showing the name of the caller if we have them in our address book?

Kind of a Yes, you'll need to subscribe to a Ring Central plan that includes "Inbound caller ID name".  Both notifications, via email and SMS, of a missed call will never "sync" with your personal contacts.  Rather, they will display only the LEC provided Caller ID number (under the Standard Plan) and the LEC provided CLID and CNAM (under the Premium and Enterprise Plans).

If you are 100% sure the sending LEC is presenting the CNAM, then you might want to open a ticket with RC Support, as they may need to check your settings.

Hi Dan,
Been in contact with RC. They have escalated the problem to a specialised support desk who will be in contact. Apparently its a known bug.

Then you should be receiving the CLID & CNAM in your notifications.  I just tested mine (to be safe) and it's there.

10-4.  You are welcome to share my screen prints with them so they can compare it with my RC account - if needed - since it does work with mine.  But I feel your pain on RC "bugs".  I have been waiting for over a year for them to fix a bug on my account - without success.
