Genuine screen sharing is not an available feature on iOS based devices (such as an iPad).

For example, I cannot screen share as I navigate an application that is not URL based. I have an enterprise account, work in Health IT, and was intending on using the live screen share feature to give a live demonstration of the application in real time over a webinar, but I now have to demo with use of photos only. There are live help documents created by RingCentral that state this as a feature for iPhones and iPads, but this is not a feature for these devices. Essentially, it's marketing of a feature that does not exist.

Please reference link below. The restriction is Apple imposed, which is why I was surprised to see it listed as a capability by RingCentral via the support document attached.

Can you link to the help docs or marketing material you saw?  I am pretty sure this is an Apple imposed restriction to not allow full screen sharing in iOS.

Yes, that was my intention. I would love to further explore the option you mentioned, or any other options available. For now I have settled in ordering an Apple/VGA adapter as a work around. When I tried to pair my iPad to the computer within RC meeting, the pop-up did not occur after I joined my iPad on the same network that would enable me to select Airplay.

Ahh, yes I have seen that.  So actually it is method to share your iphone/ipad screen and apps in RC meeting.  The only catch is that you must be paired to computer/laptop to do it.

You issue is that you expected to be able to do this without a computer involved, I guess?
